Depending upon the qualification and experience, membership will be awarded as Member, Associate, Affiliate and Graduate. Fellowships are also awarded to professionals with long & exemplary services.
ELIGIBILTY
To become a member of this association:
- One should have completed 21 years of age, and
- Possesses a degree or diploma in Industrial Safety from any institution recognised by State / Central Government.
or
- Possesses a recognised degree or diploma in Engineering / Technology / Science has more than 3 years experience in a department of Central or State Government which deals with the Factories Act / Indian Dock Labour Act / Fire Service Act and building and construction workers Act / and any other safety regulations.
Or
- Possesses an International General Certificate OR a Diploma from The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety & Health (NEBOSH), UK along with a basic qualification of a degree or diploma.
OR
A Certified Safety Professional (CSP) recognized by Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP), USA along with a basic qualification of a degree or diploma.
- Should be a practicing safety professional
- Application should be made on the prescribed form to the President / Secretary who in turn will place them before the Executive Committee. The committee shall have powers either to accept or reject any application on its merits.
